How to Speed Up Windows Vista

• Change your Vista user account to suit your needs .You can select options that will disallow annoying pop ups during installation. Look in resources to optimize your user account.

• Mellow down Vista's Aero Transparency feature. This has to do with graphics, but eats up resources. Look up links in Resources, directly below, to know about the steps to take to reduce the resource drain from Aero.

•  You can also adjust your Advanced Settings. Also, other features can be toned down in order to ease up Vista facilities and speed up your system.

•  You should also turn off Unneeded Features and Services. This can truly help speed your start-up time. There are so many things that Vista automatically opens up every time you start up your pc , where as nearly all of them are completely unnecessary and not required  most of the time .
