Reopen Closed Tabs in Internet Explorer

I think if there is one thing that irritates me in Internet Explorer more than something else, it is that there is no way to re-open a tab once you have closed it. It is especially irritating when you have done a lot of browsing so you have to sift through your history to find the link for the page you closed.

Also have you ever accidentally closed a tab in IE and been unable to find it or reopen it? It is called IE Open Last Closed Tab. Let me show you how it works.

Luckily there is an tag on for IE7 called “IE7 Open Last Closed Tab” which will remember what tabs you have recently closed so that you can rapidly re-open them. Once installation, you will notice that there is nothing different in the UI at all… but readily available are two new shortcut keys.

Alt+X will restore the last closed tab.

Alt+Q will bring up a screen to let you visually choose from the recently closed tabs.

ALT + X will automatically re-0pen the last tab you closed. ALT + Q give you a Quick Tab style view of the web sites you have closed. This means also supports 64 <bit and Internet Explorer 8. It is a great tool to add to your IE cache. ALT + Q key give you a thumbnail view of all your earlier closed tabs.

You will notice there’s an ad at the bottom… you can turn that off by clicking the “Disable Product Bar” button on the toolbar, and then you will get a message.  If <you actually like the software you can always give some money their technique.
