Search Your Internet Explorer Favorites From Within IE in Vista or XP
Like in the other articles we have come to know about the different utilities which can be used in the windows vista windows XP. With the help of this utility you can search the favorties of your search engine like internet explorer. In the windows vista you can search the favorties with the help of built in search engine provided by the windows vista, after typing the “search the favorties in internet explorer” in the address bar.
For this purpose there is a free utility which can able to search internet explorer favorties within the browser. This utility is named as DzSoft Favorites Search, and it is free of cost. But there are some drawbacks while you are using this utility and that is you can’t able to open the bookmarks in the new tab, which is very much common usage (opening of bookmarks in the new tab). But remember it is originally it is from the internet explorer (IE 5.0) and that was not surprising.
After installing this utility you have seen the search panel on the left side of your web browser (internet explorer). On this search panel you may search a word, a sentence or even the full URL (Universal Resource Locator). In order to get access to the panel you will have to uncheck the “lock toolbar option” and make sure you have the button which is used to get the new toolbar.
If you don’t get the favorties search button, then you will have to customize the DzSoft menu. You can also add this bar by holding the “alt” key until you see the favorties search button. There is also number of items which you can add in this toolbar using the drop down menu. The built in search engine for vista is enough but his utility is best for XP users.
