Turn Off the Obnoxious HP Driver UAC Popup Update Check in Vista

In this article we will discuss about the windows vista. If you are using the windows vista and with vista you are also using hp printer and with the using you might have noticed that once a week or so you get the user account control popup dialogue asking for the some Hewlett Packard update process called hprbupdate.exe. This problem is due to that the default drivers of hp printer includes different updates but those update also requires the administration permission to run, that’s why the popup dialogue appears in front of you for asking the permission for the updating of the drivers of hp printer. To avoid this problem you can also disable the default updating of the drivers by following some of the simple steps.

Inorder to disable this utility we have to run the configuration tools within the directory, after a little search you will find the application which is asking for the updating, select that application and click on the preferences links in the left hand side of the window. In the preferences links select the basic  setting option, in the basic selection option select the option “disable the solution updates” and then press the save button. After that you will get a message in the form of the dialogue box saying that your preferences will be saved. This should disable the one update at a time.

You can also disable the help content updates. For this you have to open the hp solution center and then on the bottom of the window select the setting button. Now from the other setting option choose the update preference from the setting menu. Here you can able to change the preferences about for one week and so.
After these simple steps you can be able to disable the updates for hp printer.
